Custom Blends - Lavender

The Mediterranean, Middle East, North Africa, and Cape Verde are all where lavender is indigenous.  Lavender was used in perfumes by the Ancient Aztecs, in addition to mummification. Lavender oil was traditionally used to calm children during play. Lavender is derived from the Latin word lavare, which means “to wash.” People in the past used the substance to wash and perfume their clothes, just like they did in the Roman era. Perfume base scented garment drawers were once used to scent garment drawers.
